My poor purple firefish went through the weir on the left hand overflow almost two weeks ago. He's been eating and such, but the fish did not seem happy. I asked around about the best method to remove the fish, and the folks at City Pets in Houston (my home town) suggested that I use a very small net. I was afraid that I might damage the plumbing trying to catch the fish, but I managed to work the fish around the plumbing and bring him into his happy home in the live rock.
Firefish are really cute, but they tend to be drama queens. I'll probably see that fish less now that he can find caves to hide in than I did when it was stuck in the overflow!
